Every day in Taco Truck Tycoon is a plan and a story. These are the systems you're planning around — a food truck business simulation built out of small, legible decisions that compound over a run.
Pick your pitch
The city has eight spots to park, from the free-but-broke Rusty Corner to the big-league Night Market and Grand Plaza. Each has its own crowd size, its own patience for prices, its own daily fee, and its own exposure to the weather — the City Park and Riverside Boardwalk live and die by the forecast. Choosing where to park is the first big call of the day.
Set your menu and prices
You run a three-item menu drawn from the family recipe book — classic beef tacos, chicken tacos, bean tacos, quesadillas, and richer dishes that unlock as your reputation and your kitchen grow. Every item has a fair price the crowd expects, anchored to what it costs to make. Price above it and you'll sell fewer — how much fewer depends on how price-picky that spot's crowd is.
Manage the pantry
Buy ingredients each morning for the day you think you'll have. Beef, chicken and veggies are perishable and spoil overnight until you own the Mini Fridge. Ingredient prices drift day to day, so a dip is a chance to stock deep and a spike is a reason to trim the menu. Buy too little and you'll sell out and take a reputation hit; buy too much of something perishable and you've thrown money away.
Buy upgrades
Profits go back into the business. The Mini Fridge is usually the first big quality-of-life purchase; a better grill visibly juices sales of your meat dishes; and the rig itself grows from a sidewalk stand to a trailer, to a real truck, to a retired school bus with a pizza oven that unlocks the menu's showpiece.
Grow your reputation
Happy, well-served customers build your reputation and bring lines around the block; empty shelves tear it back down. Reputation gates the better recipes and, ultimately, the win — earning back the famous truck "and then some."
Weather and events
Each morning brings a forecast that matters more at some pitches than others, plus the occasional event — a supplier showing up with everything 30% off, a big catering order, or a "forgotten" hundred dollars in the tip jar from Uncle Himmey, who is absolutely helping even though he says he isn't.
Recover from a bad run
Wake up in debt or unable to afford a day of stock and you hit Rock Bottom — Himmey wires a one-time rescue loan, delivered like a verdict. There isn't a second one. Failure is funny and recoverable; the game wants you to keep cooking.
